Thurston High School's Hospitality and Tourism Program offers students an in-depth exploration of the four key sectors of the hospitality industry: lodging, food and beverage, recreation, and travel and tourism. Through hands-on learning and real-world experiences, students gain valuable skills in customer service, event planning, culinary arts, and management. The program covers everything from hotel operations to restaurant management, as well as the fundamentals of planning and promoting leisure and travel experiences. By the end of the course, students are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for pursuing careers in the vibrant and growing hospitality and tourism industries.
