Thurston’s Welding and Fabrication Program provides students with a solid foundation in welding techniques and metalworking skills while emphasizing safety (OSHA 30) as the top priority. Students learn to operate various tools and equipment safely, including welders, grinders, and saws, while gaining hands-on experience in basic welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding. The curriculum also covers proper material handling, safety protocols, and maintenance of tools.
